Rocky the 11-year old banned snakehead fish is getting a reprieve from the Department of Environmental Conservation. In this video Rocky’s owner Chris Deverso of Clay explains how the DEC has asked him to apply for a special permit that would allow him to keep his 28-inch pet fish. Previously the DEC said they would seize and destroy the invasive species, which has been illegal to own in NYS since 2004.
