    i dont think a hard thudding is normal……. id try and find ones with a soft thudding, which ive seen somewhere but dont remember

    the problem w/ using plecos (those that aren’t omniverous) is that, when they are small they dont eat all algae, when they get too big they dont get enough and become very agressive (sometimes)

    omniverous plecos and other suckers are best.

    i have one of those magnets and it does such a thud on the glass that i stopped using them….. theyre too strong….. at least the ones they sold me

    Sucker fish or plecos, do eat algea and are a good job of it, but they grow big and they poop alot!!! I recently tried the algea magnet and it works fantastic!!! Get the magnet instead!!!!
